Crushing Operations
With the depletion of economical aggregate sources close to the market, recycling has become more prevalent in the construction industry. In addition to the use of recycled products as a supplement to reduced supplies of virgin aggregate, it is a positive recycling initiative for reusing material that most considered waste. Instead of landfilling construction rubble, we collect, sort and remanufacture these high quality materials for use in construction projects. The increase in use of these products continues to gain acceptance in the industry and with clients.
Using an Eagle Horizontal Impact Crusher, RCI crushes concrete and asphalt rubble into a granular product for use in base or surfacing applications wherever aggregates are required. The highly portable Eagle crusher offers quick mobilization to any stockpile location. We are capable of economically crushing even small piles of rubble for use on or near the site, saving trucking costs associated with having to move the rubble to a central location.
This operation, through control of dust and monitoring noise levels has been successful crushing in an urban environment between a shopping mall and condominiums.
